Is this kantarell?

Today I found this mushroom in a forest in Blekinge which looks like kantarell. Do you think it is and can it be eaten? thanks!

No it’s not. That one is what we called “false” kantarell. Not a mushroom for consumption.

It´s Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca.  Common name: false chanterelle.
Not edible, poisonous. Read about it!

No Alia its a Narrkantraell. I see That u have send in many photos on svampguiden. And some mushrooms are deadly. Please buy a english or on ur language mushroombook and try to study.

Second that. Don’t chance on eating any of the mushrooms you pick without having their edibility verified by someone experienced!

And please take a look at this page with our poisonous species, especially the five deadly ones at top marked with a skull.

You can use the Latin name to read about them in an English book or to google them. Learn those and avoid them and any other mushrooms that may look similar to them.
