Ecology
Grows in deciduous and coniferous forests throughout the Nordic countries.
Notes
A small, slender gilled mushroom with a maximum cap width of 3-4 cm. Contains the neurotoxic mushroom poison muscarine.
Similar species
There are several similar fibrecaps in the genus, for example Inocybe umbratica and I. sindonia.
