What are your opinions about chances for Karl Johan this year?
Weather seems to be perfect, but almost no KJ in the woods. Do we have a chance for really good season?
I write from Varmland
i live in denmark and according to my experience the apperance of k j use to correlate between southern sweden and denmark. in 05 and 06 there was an aboundance of k j both in denmark and in sweden. this year i havnt found a single one in denmark but 10 kg of chanterelles in a total of 3 tours.
Have found just few of them, that were acceptable for eating.
Nothing like two years ago. There was plenty of them everywere and they started on 13th of August. This year weather is so wonderfull for muschrooms, but KJ haven’t really started to come in my area (Varmland).
