Det är lite svårt att se på bild 2, särskilt, om där är nät eller prickar, men är det prickar så ska det vara blodsopp. De går till nu, jag plockade många små fina idag. Väldigt trevliga svampar!

I am sure they are pricks. Found several today and studied them to get used to the differences between blodsopp and eldsopp.  Also, the thin red line between the hat and the sponge is absent in the ones I studied today.

The netting on the eldsopp is coarse and rather unmistakable. Where I live (Skåne) blodsopp are a lot more common than eldsopp, but that may not be true for other parts of the country.

Some people eat Eldsopp. I’ve discussed the subject here on Svampguiden. Again it’s sensitive people who may react and again you should cook the mushrooms well before eating them, some say eldsopp is fine as long as you don’t combine it with whisky. Etc.

Also, doesn’t Eldsopp have a thin, red line between the sponge and the cap? Another identification point?

Don’t combine eating Eldsopp with whisky? I am very curious now as to why? :)

Oh, I see.  Mixing the 2 gives antabuse symptoms. Good thing I do not drink then ;)
