Abstract
This is a manual 460 pages with keys and descriptions to 394 poroid fungi known from Europe out of which 210 are illustrated with colour pictures. Black and white drawings are provided for 120 representative species; besides spore drawings are given some larger genera.
Macro and microscopical characters are described and illustrated and decay and pathological significance are discussed.
The taxonomic concepts are conservative and pragmatic as the book is primarily a tool for species identification and not a study of the phylogeny of the poroid fungi.
Six new combinations are proposed. The price is NOK 700. Or approx 85 EUR

nu har boken äntligen kommit,stor och tung, 805 kronor. i stort är det samma som ryvarden europeiskka tickbok, några namn ser nya ut,får återkomma senare när jag läst på bättre.han kör med sina gamla namn inte de som är godtjända i dyntaxa.bilderna är kanske lite för vackra, för gälla färger på en del
